Article Hypnosis scientific proof
An article in the Daily mail 19 of March 2002 By Paul McKenna.
It stated that Dr David Speigal from Stanford University USA scanned the brains of volunteers under hypnosis, who were told that they were looking at coloured objects when if fact they were in fact black and white.
The scan showed an area of brain used for registering coloured objects with increased blood flow, showing that the volunteers genuinely saw colours.
Something was happening to the brain when they being hypnotised, which does not happen normally.”
Therefore Hypnosis is an altered state of conscious awareness.
